Orthopedic Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team as a Circulator (Days). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care, maintaining a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care, ensuring that all patients receive individualized attention and care.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM.
