Job Title: Alarm and Preventative Maintenance Specialist

Cook Solutions Group, a leading provider of security solutions, is seeking a skilled Alarm and Preventative Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Northern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on our security products, conducting site surveys, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electronic and physical security products
  • Install and pull wire as per specifications
  • Install and wire electronic equipment used in systems
  • Account for all installation tools/equipment and all job parts/inventory
  • Test all installed/serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customers' requirements
  • Communicate important project status information to management as necessary
  • Communicate with customers on job status or completion
  • Conduct site surveys upon request of management
  • Complete and turn in all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Travel up to a week at a time when necessary
  • Maintain and control assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner
  • Maintain control, and safeguards, all company or customer property or information of which employee has been entrusted
  • Follow Purchasing procedures using database system and supervisor approval to account for products needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1 + years of electronics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of security equipment such as alarm systems, access control, video, CCTV systems, drive up systems, & under-counter teller equipment is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Bosch, DMP, March DVR, 3VR, and/or Lenel Access control product lines preferred but not required
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to a week if necessary
