Responsibilities of the Pediatric Speech Therapist...

  • The Pediatric Speech Therapist executes their responsibilities with proficiency and professionalism, addressing a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
  • This role involves active participation in the advancement and development of the Department/Clinic, including quality management initiatives.
  • At Northeast Rehab, our emphasis is on delivering high-quality patient care. Our treatment approach is guided by outcomes, best practices, and mentorship. All appointments are structured as one-on-one sessions lasting 45 minutes.

Qualifications...

  • Must possess the qualifications of a licensed PT/OT/CF-SLP, with a preference for candidates having at least one year of experience.
  • Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Outpatient Speech Therapists must hold a valid license in their state of employment and be eligible for licensure in an alternate state (license to be secured within three months of hiring).
  • Must be trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
  • If working in the Outpatient Department, the therapist is expected to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless otherwise approved by regional outpatient directors.
