Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  • Administer various therapies, including physical agents and manual techniques, to relieve pain and improve function.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to achieve independence and optimal function.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements to maintain professional competence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
  • Current Connecticut license and certification as a Certified Hand Therapist.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Windows-based programs and basic skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to travel between multiple work sites and possess reliable transportation.
