Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures, provide quality patient care, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs
  • Position patients correctly, observe during procedures, and report any unusual occurrences
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow, scheduling, and optimal use of equipment/resources
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff to ensure seamless care
  • Assist with patient transport, IV starts, and contrast administration as required
  • Perform technologist duties of other registered modalities as assigned by management
  • Provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours, as per department and/or facility policy
  • Input charges and required data for procedures and supplies used during exams
  • Complete required hospital/medical imaging paperwork for each exam performed
  • Maintain a clean work area, technical operation of equipment, and quality checks/documentation
  • Proactively identify problems and follow up with management personnel
  • Establish a motivating, constructive rapport with physicians, staff, and system departments
  • Participate in clinical training, provide support to students, staff technologists, and other hospital personnel
  • Engage in professional activities, such as journal clubs, online education, and organizational involvement
  • Actively participate in department/hospital quality and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all State, Federal, accreditation, and hospital regulations and standards
Requirements
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • State License-Radiology Technologist-Kansas
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs
