Responsibilities

Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a service of Dignity Health, is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to support health services at Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), an award-winning, 191 bed hospital located in Santa Maria, CA.

The health practice is part of a larger ambulatory clinic system with 50 locations that span over multiple counties. Over 200 providers employed and 20 specialty services offered. Excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to be productive and provide high-quality care to a growing community.


Patient Care:

Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric inpatients.

Manage and coordinate the care of hospitalized children, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.

Collaborate with the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team for managing high-risk newborns.


Shift Details:

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Typical schedule includes 8-10 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 24 hours, blending in-house and off-site coverage.


Collaboration:

Work closely with a team of dedicated support staff.

Engage in a strong collaborative relationship with the NICU, OB, and MFM teams.


Facility and Services:

The hospital boasts a Level III NICU with 21 beds and a robust OB department with over 3,100 deliveries annually.

Qualifications

1. Board Certification/Eligibility: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

2. Licensing: An active California medical license is required.

3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient care.

4. Employment Eligibility: Ability to be employed in the United States.


Pay Range

$338.29/hour
