As a Load Builder I Yard, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials within our yard or work site. This involves assembling load packages into trucks for delivery to customer job sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Forklift certification is required, and prior experience in a similar role is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is also necessary.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of $43,000 - $55,000 based on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading materials from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles
  • Assembling load packages into trucks for delivery to customer job sites
  • Performing load-building duties, determining the appropriate weight, composition, and placement of loads based on customer orders and vehicle capacity
  • Conveying materials using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other equipment
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and best practices

Requirements:

  • Forklift operator certification
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Three (3) months experience performing similar tasks
