About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Data Analyst to join our team at Wingbrace. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze scenarios that tie in all mission areas.
  • Generate analytical modeling solutions to assess performance, identify technology gaps, create technology roadmaps, develop requirements, and specify operational benefits of current and future concepts based on client-approved scenarios.
  • Support the development and briefing of data packages that provide analysis results to inform government decision-makers.
  • Review and report all findings to appropriate parties, explaining the testing of data and the ability to import and process confidential data according to guidelines.
  • Create reports for customers and internal users that provide clarity on trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements, as well as initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Develop, inspect, and transform data to raise productivity, improve decision-making, and gain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, Business, or a quantitative field.
  • Three or more years of related experience.
  • Programming languages for quantitative analyses (e.g., Mathematica, Python, R).
  • Technical writing experience (e.g., data definitions).
  • Experience using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Ability to understand business needs and relay them into easy-to-understand, non-technical language.
