Position Overview

Deliver individualized and group squash coaching sessions while adhering to organizational programming standards and operational procedures. Expand your clientele and revenue to achieve and surpass personal financial objectives. Exhibit member-focused customer service to foster repeat engagements and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observes, demonstrates, and instructs participants during squash sessions on effective techniques, strategies, and tactics to enhance their overall squash performance. A significant portion of working hours, approximately 80%, should be dedicated to on-court coaching.
  • Designs safe, professional, and thorough squash lessons and programs to ensure participants progress along a pathway that promotes ongoing involvement and a favorable Net Promoter Score.
  • Creates outstanding member experiences by engaging members in programs, competitions, and special events, fully utilizing available marketing resources and tools, while ensuring all squash courts and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and functional state.
  • Manages proper registration and billing for squash participants and programs. Ensures all lessons/programs are scheduled in the Life Time court management software and comply with all company operational procedures.
  • Contributes to the organization-wide sales initiative alongside Membership Advisors and Member Activities, ensuring Squash is a vital element of the Life Time brand. Participates in departmental and all-club meetings.
Position Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, with a friendly, approachable, and positive demeanor.
  • Comprehensive understanding of squash and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse age groups and fostering positive relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Capability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Authorized to work in the US or Canada, based on work location.
  • Squash Level 1 Certification or equivalent European qualification.
  • CPR and AED Certification within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of experience in Squash Coaching.
