Music Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-time Music Faculty to join our team at Lone Star College. This is an excellent opportunity for musicians and educators who want to share their passion for music with students.

The successful candidate will teach Music courses at a variety of times and locations, creating engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material. They will also submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner, utilize a course syllabus for each course, and meet with students either before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods.

Responsibilities include evaluating students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives, informing students in a timely manner of their progress, maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community, and attending meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.

Estimated Salary: $53.82 per contact hour
