Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide expert care to patients in a travel setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, utilizing expert proficiency to handle complex cases.
- Perform diagnostic testing, including complete PFTs, ABG machine maintenance, hemodynamics, special procedures, and ENGs.
- Teach and mentor others in respiratory care, sharing your expertise to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Associates Degree from an accredited program in Respiratory Care recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- State License as a Respiratory Therapist.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- ACLS, NRP (Peds Specialty RT), and PALS.
- Guaranteed hours for travel contracts.
- Preferred booking agreement for local contracts.
- Weekly pay.
- Holiday pay.
- Contract security compared to a contract with an outside agency.
