Merchandise Coordinator

Location:
Join our team at The Salvation Army as a vital member of our retail operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, pricing, and preparing donated goods for display in our store. You will assess the quality and pricing of items based on established criteria, while also ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and sorting donations
- Pricing and preparing items for sale
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store
- Providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with inventory management
What We Are Looking For:
We seek individuals with a high school diploma or G.E.D. Experience in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and sorting, is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance expectations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and/or pushing/pulling of heavy materials and supplies.
Mobility Requirements:
This position involves a combination of standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and transporting merchandise, with limited periods of sitting or operating a vehicle.
