**Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Therapeutic Services Instructor to join our team at Milford Public Schools. As a Certified Nurse Assistant Program Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating students in the therapeutic services pathway, which includes a series of courses for high school students preparing them for careers in healthcare.

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in healthcare, with a bachelor's degree in a health occupation and at least one year of experience in a related field. A current CT certification in Health Occupations-Comprehensive High School or equivalent is also required.

 

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instruction to students in the Certified Nurse Assistant Program.
  • Supervise students' participation in the clinical portion of the program.
  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in education and pedagogy.
