Join RAYUS Radiology as a Mammography Technologist
Sign-on Bonus: $7,000 Available
Compensation: $53 per hour based on experience
At RAYUS Radiology, we are redefining the standards in diagnostic imaging. We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to become part of our innovative team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to operate imaging equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring exceptional patient care.
This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Imaging (90%):
- Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to examinations, confirming identities and ensuring safety protocols are met.
- Prepare and educate patients about the Mammography process, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Perform both routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality results while providing support and reassurance to patients throughout the process.
- Adjust imaging parameters as necessary, employing dose reduction techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Foster positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues to promote a collaborative work environment.
- Adhere strictly to physician directives and safety regulations to protect the well-being of patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with ACR accreditation standards and toolkit requirements.
- Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning optimally.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Department Support (5%):
- Assist in the upkeep of the imaging protocol manual and facilitate software updates.
- Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, ensuring necessary supplies are readily available.
- Support the training of new team members, sharing knowledge and expertise as needed.
Additional Duties (5%):
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operations of the department.
