Job Overview

The Front Office Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Rooms Operations, ensuring seamless guest and employee experiences.

This entry-level management position focuses on working closely with employees to deliver exceptional service, maintain property cleanliness standards, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the management of Rooms Operations activities, including opening and closing shifts, reviewing critical reports, and operating departmental equipment.
  • Ensures employees have the necessary supplies and uniforms, understands night audit procedures, and complies with loss prevention policies.
  • Schedules employees effectively, tracks time and attendance, and communicates performance expectations.
Revenue Growth and Budget Management
  • Supervises same-day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and property occupancy.
  • Verifies accuracy of room rates to optimize revenue opportunities and participates in managing departmental expenses to achieve budgeted goals.
Guest Experience and Satisfaction
  • Assists in investigating employee and guest accidents, utilizes a guest information tracking system to ensure repeat guest recognition, and sets a positive example for guest relations.
  • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback, effectively responds to and handles guest problems, and assists in reviewing comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.
Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
