Job Summary:
Grainger Businesses is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on all automated material handling and building systems in our Distribution Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the primary responder for complex system issues involving automated material handling sortation and controls
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades and modifications/repairs to DC assets
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system components of the automated material handling system
- Work in teams to propose unique solutions to problems
- Perform audits and quality checks on equipment and building assets
- Provide diagnosis analyses on different building equipment
Requirements:
- Technical degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience with automated material handling systems
- Experience with electrical test equipment and reading schematics
- High level of understanding of codes and safety regulations
- Design, implement, and document PLC programming changes
- Experience with power distribution and control circuits
- Troubleshoot I/O device networks
- Experienced with AC drives
