Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Evans East Animal Hospital. As a key member of our medical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and client service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures, diagnostic tests, and patient care
- Obtain and document patient health history, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, restock medical supplies, and perform other administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional communication and customer service
- Stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary medical knowledge and techniques, advancing your skills and knowledge base
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting, preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and restrain pets of at least 40 pounds, and work on feet for extended periods
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, patience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
