About the Role

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our data management process, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and other storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Ingestion and Processing: Develop, sustain, and improve the current system data ingestion functions, making adjustments as needed by performing analysis, monitoring, and configuring the solution.
  • ETL Mapping and Development: Create ETL mappings to extract data from source data systems, transform the data based on business requirements, and load the data into target data systems.
  • Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements.
  • Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Create or update detailed design information, access and review the code repository, administer code reviews, adjust unit testing, maintain build support, including continuous integration, sustain operational support activities, and respond to mission-critical requests.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with application development tools, standards, and languages, and work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline with 8 years of experience; additional six (6) years of experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology.
  • Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing: Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
  • Data Pipelines and ETL Workflows: Experience with data pipelines to include data extraction, transformation, integration, and loading, and experience developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL workflows and processes.
  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Qualifications
  • Business Intelligence Environments: Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred.
  • Agile Development: Experience operating in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment.
  • Atlassian Tools: Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools; Jira, Confluence.
  • Self-Organization and Communication: Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation, teamwork, and follow-through.
