Key Responsibilities- Prepare examination and treatment areas according to clinic standards
- Complete patient rooming procedures, including vital signs and data collection
- Administer and document unit dose medications and immunizations
- Perform EKGs and laboratory testing as needed
- Ensure accurate documentation in patient records
- Assist with scheduling follow-up care and appointments
- Distribute patient education materials and direct patient questions to providers or RNs
- High School Diploma or equivalent in General Studies
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Medical Assistant-Certified (MA) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
