Position Overview
As a Float Phlebotomist, you will gain diverse experience by interacting with various patients, colleagues, and healthcare facilities. This role is ideal for those who thrive in dynamic environments and seek continuous professional development.

Incentives and Work Schedule
*Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, with hours ranging from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including rotating Saturdays.

*Float Incentive:

• Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages.
• Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screenings and paternity tests.
• Accurately enter patient information into the system.
• Process billing and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical tasks as required.
• Travel to different sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy certification from an accredited organization.
• Prior experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
