Position Overview
As a skilled professional in the plumbing field, you will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks related to plumbing systems maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities

- Utilize technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to identify and troubleshoot issues within plumbing systems.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures in compliance with state regulations.
- Apply your Journeyman skills and extensive experience to effectively manage maintenance, repair, and installation tasks, including clearing blockages from drainage systems.

- Employ the appropriate tools for system diagnostics and leverage your expertise for emergency repairs.
- Adjust, repair, and replace plumbing equipment, fixtures, and components; install new systems as needed.
- Operate all necessary machinery, testing devices, and tools while adhering to safety protocols relevant to the plumbing trade.

- Collaborate with engineers to diagnose plumbing issues and propose corrective measures.
- Occasionally supervise and guide less experienced team members.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Licensure/Certification

- A valid Journeyman Plumber License is mandatory; a Masters Un-Restricted Plumbing License is preferred.
- A valid Georgia Driver License is required; eligibility for a CDL is necessary; must be insurable by the company’s insurance providers.

Experience Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required; 3 years in a commercial plumbing environment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Proficient understanding of plumbing materials, methods, tools, and equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, as well as testing equipment pertinent to the plumbing industry.
- Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Working Conditions
- Regular exposure to moving machinery and vehicles.
- Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and humidity.
- Capability to work from heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, or bucket trucks.
Physical Requirements

- The role involves climbing ladders and may require pushing or pulling.
- Precision work with minimal tolerances may be necessary.
- Physical activities may include stooping, crawling, and bending.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry items over short distances.
