We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Handler to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of freight, maintaining the quality and integrity of our shipments, and managing our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the efficient processing of freight, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of our shipments, ensuring that all goods are properly packaged and labeled.
- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory management, stockroom organization, and equipment maintenance.
- Complete work assignments and priorities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
