Occupational Therapist PRN Position

Westside Village Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, helping them to achieve their maximum potential and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including activities of daily living, to help patients regain independence and confidence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Indiana.
  • Experience working in a post-acute care setting, preferably in a nursing center or rehabilitation facility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation.
