Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As an Insulator, you will be responsible for applying, removing, and repairing insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, and other mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, remove, and repair insulation on equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and vessels.
  • Determine the amounts and select required insulation material.
  • Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with plastic covers, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement, or asphalt mastic.
  • Install sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of insulation materials and techniques, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
