Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician II to join our team at Jordan's Furniture. As a Facilities Technician II, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment and systems, including electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment and systems, including furniture lifts, plumbing, entertainment venues, energy management, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, and daily operations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of facility systems and equipment, including water, power distribution, exhaust, fire alarms, emergency procedures, gas and electrical distribution, fans, motors, blowers, pumps, and sprinklers.
  • Perform daily walk-throughs of the facility with designated lists.
  • Assist with facilities projects as necessary, including location of facility systems, zones, water and power distribution, and pick up, store, or distribute stock.
  • Update computerized ticketing system with status of work completed.
  • Operate and repair equipment, including forklifts, maintenance vehicles, and tow motors.
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards and Jordan's safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in related work.
  • Working knowledge of the operation of all company equipment and pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, carpentry, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to update computerized ticketing system.
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to drive to other locations to perform work duties.
  • May be required to successfully fulfill DOT certification.
