Job Overview

Technica LLC is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Lead Supply Chain Technician. This position is essential in overseeing supply operations and ensuring efficient management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a working lead, assisting the UME Supervisor by providing guidance and oversight to fellow Supply Technicians in their daily tasks.
  • Manage the return of recoverable repair parts to the Supply Support Activity (SSA) for appropriate credit.
  • Conduct investigations on repair parts that have not arrived by their estimated shipping date.
  • Ensure the proper processing of all local purchase requests.
  • Oversee the daily collection of materials from the supporting SSA and ensure they are stored in designated locations.
  • Correct any discrepancies in error and exception documentation.
  • Coordinate and direct the quarterly inventory survey, completing necessary reports and documentation.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming supplies and equipment as required.
  • Construct containers for the storage or shipment of repair parts when necessary.
  • Package and prepare equipment and supplies for shipment as needed.
  • Process Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) and Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), ensuring proper tracking and resolution of identified issues.
  • Provide training and support to team members as applicable.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • GCSS-Army training and/or certification with at least two years of hands-on experience.
  • One year of experience managing shop stock in a military maintenance facility.
  • Familiarity with the AESIP-Army Enterprise Portal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of military Technical Manuals (TMs).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident for eligibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting items within a specified weight limit.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English, both oral and written.
  • Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard hours as required.
