Sun River Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Rockland County. This position will be scheduled to float to our Nyack, Spring Valley, and Haverstraw sites.
Key Responsibilities- Render nursing care to patients, within the unit of the Center or authorized community site, in support of medical care as directed by the medical staff and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the Center.
- Perform job duties in compliance with systems and job-specific standards, and additional duties or tasks as assigned.
- Interview and maintain patient medical records, including nursing observations, health history, vital signs, and medications administered.
- Collect and process lab specimens, perform quality control, and complete assigned tasks and logs.
- Initiate follow-up as necessary, including encounters, labs, and close non-billables.
- Provide health teaching as indicated by physician, diagnosis, or patient inquiry.
- Valid New York State LPN License
- CPR Certification
- Infection Control Certification
- High school diploma/GED
- Preferred: Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Program - Nursing
