Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled food service manager with a positive attitude, valid identification, and a clean driving record. Experience in sales and marketing is highly valued. All team members should possess an outgoing personality and the ability to foster relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be required to tow a trailer, effectively set up the DonutNV trailer at events, manage the event alongside their team, and dismantle the trailer afterward. Training will be provided for towing the mobile unit.
  • The manager will collaborate with the franchise owner to secure event bookings, cultivate relationships within the assigned area, and recruit and maintain a capable staff to operate the business successfully. Familiarity with social media, marketing, and sales is advantageous.
  • Inventory oversight, including ordering supplies and ensuring appropriate stock levels, is essential.
  • Effective communication with the franchise owner and DonutNV corporate team is crucial. Maintaining a strong working relationship with both parties is vital for business success.
  • The candidate must obtain a food safety certification (ServSafe) or demonstrate the ability to complete a food service certification course.
  • Availability during weekends and holidays is required.
  • The manager will operate the DonutNV donut machine (fryer), produce donuts, and troubleshoot any equipment issues promptly to minimize sales loss or downtime. Reporting any machine malfunctions to the franchise owner is also necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the DonutNV mobile trailer and all operational equipment is a key responsibility.
  • The manager will oversee a small team, motivating them to drive sales and perform essential tasks such as setup and breakdown of the mobile unit, as well as preparing lemonade and coffee.
  • All logistical aspects of event processes, including inventory ordering, menu planning, setup, and breakdown, will be managed by the candidate.
  • Building relationships within the community is essential. Punctuality for scheduled events and strong communication skills are necessary to ensure successful events and future business opportunities.
