Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Montefino Ventilator Training. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Respiratory Care: Set up and operate devices such as mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators, following specified parameters of treatment.
  • Emergency Response: Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, external cardiac massage, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Patient Assessment: Determine requirements for treatment, such as type, method, and duration of therapy, precautions to be taken, and medication and dosages, compatible with physicians' orders.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor patient's physiological responses to therapy, such as vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes, and consult with physician if adverse reactions occur.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, and a current Respiratory License/Credentials from an accredited body.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or similar role is desired, but not required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
