Banquet Set Up Person Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Set Up Person at Spring Mill Country Club. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events and activities at our private 18-hole golf course and clubhouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Setup: Assist with the setup of tables, chairs, and other furniture needed for events, ensuring that everything is in place and ready for guests.
  • Furniture and Equipment Movement: Move furniture and equipment as needed to support events and activities.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Vacuum carpets, keep patio areas clean, wash windows seasonally, and perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any damage, burned-out light bulbs, and plumbing problems to the Maintenance team, and communicate with other staff members as needed to ensure a smooth event.
  • Trash and Recycling: Take trash to the dumpster and ensure that recycling is properly sorted and disposed of.
  • Polishing and Cleaning: Polish glass and table surfaces as needed, and maintain the outside of the clubhouse building, including cleaning and shoveling steps, walkways, patios, and entrances.
  • Lifting and Moving: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous work, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing.
  • Restroom Cleaning: Clean and restock restrooms during parties and events when needed.
