Job Opportunity

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional services to a school district.

Job Details
  • Contract, Full Time
  • 24/25 school year

Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development of IEP goals
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
  • Current Connecticut SLP License or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Current Connecticut Educator License or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
