About the Role

Precision Walls, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial Drywall Hangers and Framers to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing drywall in commercial settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drywall Installation: Perform all steps of drywall hanging as a team, including hanging walls, top-out, ceilings, and demonstrating each individually.
  • Tool Proficiency: Operate screw-guns, lifting wedges (jacks), roto-zips, rasps, and T-squares with ease.
  • Board Knowledge: Experience with all types and ranges of commercial drywall boards, including measuring and marking surfaces to hang work according to blueprints and drawings.
  • Quality Control: Inspect framing surfaces for imperfections, mark surfaces to be corrected, and ensure a quality finish.
  • Leadership: Oversee less experienced installers/laborers, coordinate with GCs and other subcontractors, and instruct and inspect quality-produced walls or ceilings.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve conflicts in site-specific conditions prior to project roadblocks.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Skillfully patch and repair existing drywall to a like-new appearance.
Requirements and Experience
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in Production Finishing, with a specialization in the field.
  • Safety: Proven experience with stilts, baker scaffolding, and ladders.
  • Attitude and Commitment: Positive attitude, commitment to acquiring trade knowledge, and a focus on quality excellence.
  • Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen to instructions.
  • Dependability: Dependable transportation and a commitment to being on time.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.
