As a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with Soliant, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential therapy services to students with communication disorders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language development in children and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and have knowledge of assessment and intervention strategies for various communication disorders.
This is a contract position located in Bowie, TX, offering a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, and professional development opportunities.
Responsibilities- Assist in assessments and implement therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Facilitate group sessions and document progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Texas
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred but not required
Estimated Salary: $40-$60 per hour
