Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Physical Therapist to join our team in Bethesda, Maryland.

About the Job

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you will work independently to assess and develop individualized care plans, conduct diagnostic tests and measurements, and educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess clients' physical needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to evaluate clients' mobility, strength, and balance.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve clients' physical function and independence.
  • Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote healthy living.
  • Document observations, interventions, and evaluations to ensure accurate and comprehensive care management.
Requirements
  • Current MD Physical Therapist license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
