Job Summary:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining ScriptPro's computer-based technology and automation systems at client locations, both domestically and internationally. This is a travel-intensive position, allowing you to accumulate airline and rental car travel points.
ScriptPro designs, sells, and supports cutting-edge products and services for healthcare clients, including federal agencies such as the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Services, and numerous major hospital systems across the nation.
These clients require specific security clearances and health-related tests and vaccinations to access their facilities.
To effectively support ScriptPro clients and as a condition of employment, you will need to obtain federal security clearance and/or demonstrate compliance with certain health-related tests and vaccinations, including but not limited to tuberculosis, annual flu shots, and COVID vaccinations (requests for religious or medical exemptions will be considered).
Federal security clearance may involve additional background checks, including credit history and drug testing.
Starting Salary:
$24/hour or $50K annually, plus generous overtime and bonus opportunities. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, a 401K plan, PTO, CCTO, and 9 paid holidays.

Work Schedule:
Typically, a rotating schedule of 9 days on and 5 days off. Overtime is common and compensated. Regular and punctual attendance is crucial for all positions at ScriptPro.
Role Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment on-site at pharmacies and remotely via phone.
- Provide training and support to pharmacy personnel as needed.
- Identify customer workflow challenges and enhance ScriptPro system performance.
- Travel is a key component of this role, requiring 80% or more travel (including both long-distance driving and air travel).
Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 55 lbs unassisted and up to 120 lbs with assistance, pushing/pulling up to 800 lbs, climbing various types of ladders, and standing for 6-8 hours daily.
Availability with a responsive phone is required 24/7 during scheduled shifts.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- General knowledge of IT systems, including Windows NT/XP/7/8/10.
- Experience in computer systems repair and a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs daily, including during travel by car or air.
ScriptPro conducts a comprehensive background check post-offer, and candidates must be able to obtain Department of Defense security clearance upon hire.

Working Conditions:
This role combines office and workshop environments. You will frequently encounter dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, electrical hazards, and various weather conditions is common. This is a physically active position requiring standing, walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and reaching. The ability to push, pull, and lift independently is necessary. Motor coordination skills and proficiency with tools are also required. Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision, are essential. The ability to learn, solve practical problems, and interpret various instructions is required. Focused attention during extended travel periods is crucial.
