Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Force Instructor to join our team at State Fair Community College. As a Learning Force Instructor, you will be responsible for leading courses and trainings, both for credit and non-credit, and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality courses and training programs that meet the needs of our students and community
  • Design and implement engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student success
  • Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes and program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments and incorporate best practices into course design and delivery
Requirements
  • Subject-matter expert level in the area of interest
  • Creative, organized, and energetic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lead and engage a group of course participants (of any age)
  • Able to integrate hands-on activities into learning
  • Able to facilitate group discussions and interaction
  • Dependent upon the course, education, industry-specific experience, and certification qualifications may be necessary
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in adult education or training
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
