We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at Okland Construction. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality training materials and learning experiences that engage and educate our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instructional materials for various learning formats, including e-learning, video tutorials, animation, presentations, and blended learning.
  • Lead the production and editing of video-based training modules, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and aligned with company goals and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate them into effective instructional content.
  • Implement instructional strategies, such as simulations, job aids, role-playing, and interactive modules, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of video creation, including scripting, filming, and post-production.
  • Optimize content for multiple platforms (LMS, mobile, web) and ensure all materials adhere to adult learning principles.
  • Work closely with internal teams to update training materials as needed and stay current with industry trends in instructional design, e-learning, and videography.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development, with a strong background in videography and video editing.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools, as well as knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and internal teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
