Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Europastry. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our bread products on the production line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on bread produced on assigned production lines to meet customer specifications.
  • Product Evaluation: Use product color charts and dimensions to evaluate bread products and accept those that meet specifications.
  • Measurement and Documentation: Use various tools to measure product dimensions and weight, and keep documented records of defective bread weight to analyze and investigate root cause of defects.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Work with Packaging Supervisors and Quality Assurance Inspectors to provide feedback to Line Operators and packers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a continuous improvement culture and inform supervision of any problems or complications that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in food safety and/or quality.
  • Certifications: HACCP certification preferred, PCQI preferred.
