We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. As a RN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families by providing high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with the plan of care and agency policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Initiate referrals as needed and promote patient health through education and rehabilitative measures.
- Current RN license in the state(s) assigned to work.
- One year of clinical experience as an RN (or approval by VP of Clinical for less than one year of experience).
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance.
