We are seeking a qualified Part-Time Social Worker/Counselor to join our Adolescent Residential Program team in Brentwood, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct clinical services to adolescents in a substance abuse treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate individual and group sessions, including specialty groups, in a professional and caring manner.
- Manage caseloads from intake to discharge, ensuring appropriate levels of care and clinical interventions.
- Provide backup coverage for clinical staff absences and demonstrate initiative in task completion.
- Collaborate with the Program Director and Coordinator to effectively manage workload and address program issues.
- Participate in quality improvement programs and support actions to improve care and services based on outcome data.
- Advanced degree required; LMSW, LCSW, LMHC or higher preferred.
- Limited permit or clinical master's level candidate with relevant experience will be considered.
- 2-3 years of experience with substance abuse disorders.
- 1-2 years of experience working with clients with co-occurring and mental health problems.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an OASAS-funded facility a plus.
- Commitment to providing quality services and outcome-driven performance measures.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
- Experience with AVATAR electronic health records a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish or Polish a plus.
