Job Overview

Tangent Technologies is seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. This is a night shift position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate extrusion equipment safely and efficiently
  • Check and maintain product quality according to specifications
  • Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, and flow of materials
  • Record and maintain production data
  • Safely perform color and die changes at appropriate times
  • Trim, stack and package finished products for shipment
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • At least two years of continuous employment in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read, write and perform math skills
  • Able to pass a colorblindness test
  • Ability to read a tape measure to measure in feet and inches
  • Able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend regularly
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  • Must have own steel-toed boots
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat conditions
