We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at BMC Berkeley Medical Center. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, and promote health and wellness through health promotion and disease prevention activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia or a compact state.
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Telemetry setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
