Banquet Captain Job Description

Job Summary:

The Banquet Captain is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all assigned banquet functions. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist with the set-up, service, and clean-up of all assigned banquet functions.
  • Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Manage banquet staff and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Monitor and control banquet expenses to ensure they are within budget.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless execution of events.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a banquet or event management role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
