Position Summary

The role of the Service Plumber involves diagnosing, assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems in accordance with relevant codes. You will handle a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to urgent service calls, ensuring our clients receive top-notch plumbing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a mobile application to manage work orders and document essential information throughout the service process.
  • Perform service, repair, and installation of commercial plumbing systems, addressing issues such as leaks, water line jetting, and water heater installations.
  • Prepare detailed job scopes, including time estimates and material requirements.
  • Diagnose plumbing issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Adhere to state and local plumbing regulations and safety standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, which may include evenings and weekends.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing or a related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment, including cable machines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Proficient in using smartphones and tablets for work-related tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and climb ladders regularly.
  • Capability to lift and move heavy objects (50-65 lbs) frequently.
  • Experience operating various power equipment safely.
  • Comfortable driving a commercial vehicle in diverse weather conditions.
