We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to provide care to our clients in Nassau County, Long Island.

Job Summary:

As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This includes assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with ADLs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with IADLs, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication management
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with transfers and mobility
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the client or their family members
Requirements:
  • Valid HHA/PCA certification
  • Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain
  • Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work with clients who smoke and clients with pets (cat/dog)
