Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Dining Room Ambassador to join our team at Hyatt Regency Greenville. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction through impeccable service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Satisfaction
  • Ensure dining room cleanliness and attention to guests' needs.
• Workstation Setup and Maintenance
  • Thoroughly and correctly set up the assigned workstation prior to opening and clean station at end of shift according to operational policies and standards.
• Side Work and Menu Knowledge
  • Complete all necessary side-work as per restaurant schedule.
  • Be knowledgeable about all menu items, their garnish, contents, and preparation methods.
• Order Taking and Service
  • Take orders accurately and input into kitchen food management and ordering system.
  • Follow proper procedures in completing guest checks and submitting information to kitchen.
• Food Quality and Presentation
  • Check guest order prior to serving to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
• Customer Service
  • Greet guests promptly at table.
  • Utilize suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.
  • Return as appropriate to ensure all of guest's needs are being met and to suggestively sell other items.
• Teamwork and Communication
  • Pre-bus and bus all tables as per restaurant standards and prepare for future customers.
  • Notify manager of all food and beverage supplies needed to ensure efficient operation of restaurant.
• Knowledge and Awareness
  • Have working knowledge of property and all facilities to respond to guest questions effectively.
