Job Title: Assembly Production Specialist

Job Summary:

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Assembly Production Specialist to join our team. As an Assembly Production Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies, reading and deciphering schematics and blueprints, and using hand tools to mount and connect components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications
  • Read and decipher schematics and blueprints to understand assembly instructions
  • Use hand tools to mount and connect components
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure assembled components meet specifications
  • Clean and maintain work area and equipment
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts and materials
  • Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed components
  • Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels and verifying receipt of supplies
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
