About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Temple Rehabilitation Hospital. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients in need of continued rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Under the guidance of a supervising Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment programs using various techniques and activities, reviewing and modifying treatment as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • You will be responsible for assisting patients in preparation for treatment and providing treatment to diverse diagnostic populations, completing supporting documentation according to hospital policy and State Practice Act.
  • Collaboration with support personnel will be essential in communicating treatment orders as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • You will apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed Physical Therapist, progressing patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is necessary.
