Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Elma, Washington. As a travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and equipment, and to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist, with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
