Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at a hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. You will work 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. The estimated weekly payment is $2,682-$2,848, which includes taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient information and progress in the medical record
Requirements:
  • Current Iowa Registered Nurse License/Certification
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant experience
